A Canadian girl falls in love with a London boy…the rest is like a Bollywood film.

This is the love story of Khadija and Bilal. Two souls who love each other to bits.

I love Toronto, it’s one of my favourite places, so when Khadija asked if I’d like to photograph her wedding there, I was overjoyed. It also meant an excuse to go and visit my then pregnant best friend Shaziya, who was also in Toronto at the time. It couldn’t get any better, until I got there. The weather was gorgeous, Khadija’s family were and are awesome and I am even more in love with Toronto and Torontians than I was before.

The Decor on the wedding day at the Mississauga Convention Centre was beyond lush, it was just how Khadija had said it would be and her nephews gave a really cute speech and send off too. We had the next day to ourselves and we spent it at Lake Ontario for a post wed shoot, it was a beautiful day with gorgeous sunshine.

Thank you to Khadija’s family for their warm welcome and generous hospitality, I’ve made some life long friends 🙂
