Wow, a Liverpool Indian Wedding!
When I started wedding photography as a full time career, one of the first weddings I shot was a wedding in Liverpool. It was at the Hillbark Hotel and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph Cherene and Ashish’s wedding all those years ago. Fast forward 5 years and Cherene’s sister was tying the knot and contacted me about her wedding photography. I was honoured. It meant so much to be able to go back to Liverpool to photograph this wedding.
This beautiful Liverpool Indian wedding, took place at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool. Such a stunning venue and the hospitality is second to none. The staff really looked after us. The decor was gorgeous full of candles and lots of florals which just lit up the venue stunningly. The videography was by Unique Films and we had Jonathan Waterman who knows how to get a party going as well as be a fabulous toastmaster. Aneeka’s beautiful outfits were from Maysa boutique in Bradford, she looked so elegant in both her outfits.
The whole wedding was planned to perfection with lots of special touches. Raj arrived on a horseback in traditional Indian style, there was an Indian band baja that followed the baraat into the hotel yard where the milni took place. Aneeka got ready at the Titanic Hotel, in a lovely large room with big windows so we had some stunning light pouring into the room in the morning.
It was an interesting morning as the Arsenal football team were starting there the night before and it caused all sorts of excitement in the morning when they were all leaving to get to the big Liverpool game of the year.
This Liverpool Indian wedding was conducted beautifully and the warehouse room was turned around for the breathtakingly beautiful reception set up, the floral chandelier that set off the dance floor, the table florals, the candles, the lighting, the whole production was brilliantly executed. It looked stunning for the first dance. Aneeka and Raj arrived at the reception on a boat that docked at the hotel harbour, what an entrance that was with a live feed too! The night ended with fireworks and lots more dancing.
If you’re looking for a venue with a difference where you can dress a venue to your imagination, then the Titanic is definitely somewhere you should consider. I love photographing Indian weddings in Liverpool, so if you’re getting married in Liverpool, give me a call and let’s create some more wonderful memories!
