I had the pleasure of photographing Monica and Rikkesh’s Hindu wedding at the Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa in Bolton.
Monica and Rikkesh have a personality that shines through, always happy, smiling and quite often laughing out loud. Monica’s laughter is so contagious, we laughed pretty much throughout this wedding and reception.
Mon and Rik wear their heart on their sleeves, this made the vidai particularly emotional.
I’ll never forget Monica’s pithi. In my 6 years of working as a wedding photographer, I’ve never seen as much enthusiasm at a pithi as I did at Monica’s haldi. There was so much love and laughter, making it a really fun event to photograph.
What is clearly visible from the photographs is how much these guys are into each other, the silent glances they give each other, the smiles they have for each other and most importantly, they can party hard together!
We started the day with bridal preps at the hotel and followed the Jaan arrival which was accompanied by the sound of drums and lots of dancing.
The Hindu wedding was beautifully conducted by Maheshbhai. After the ceremony, we went out for some portraits and the vidai followed shortly after that.
The wedding reception party was set up by one of my favourite entertainment teams Evallance (If you’re looking for a fantastic DJ team, entertainment set up, light up screens, lighting rigs…they are your go to company)
It’s always nice to be at a wedding where you’ve been recommended by a previous client, who also happens to be in attendance at the wedding! Tayjal, thank you for always being so kind in recommending me to your family and friends, you should check out her stationary business, it’s lush! Mani’s Creative 🙂
It’s been a pleasure to be part of such a vivid, emotional and joyful wedding and to make friends along the way.
Thank you to Beth for second shooting.
Here are a few of my favourites.
